Chopstix is a small Chinese fast food place just next to the [Astoria]? club. You walk in to a small serving bar just off the street; you can take away in the carton they provide or sit at the small bar along the wall to eat.

Prices are OK for central London, e.g. �3.90 for sweet & sour chicken with rice or noodles. Add 80p for a canned drink (or bring your own in advance!).

Food is average; the chicken I had was OK but there wasn't really enough to go with the amount of rice which makes it quite boring after you've finished all the meat. Less than you would get for the same price from an American fast food chain but probably more nutritious (at a guess).

Verdict: good if you're in a hurry and in a very convenient location on Charing Cross Road right opposite Centrepoint, extremely close to the tube station. Just don't expect the pinnacle of Chinese cuisine.
