The Chelsea Kitchen, at the Sloane Square end of the King's Road, is a cheap and cheerful cafe serving a range of international food from early in the morning to late at night every day at low, low prices. The food, such as all day breakfasts, minestrone, spaghetti bolognese, beef goulash, chicken oregano, various soups, a range of (good) omelettes and what-have-you tends to be somewhat on the solid side, which you could possibly describe as "school food style", but it's satisfying, and satisfyingly cheap. Expect to pay about �8 for a three-course meal. The cafe itself is on the ground floor and basement; on the ground floor there are diner-style booths, and downstairs are tables in a basement compartmented into small rooms, almost like being in a dining car. It's kind of shabby, but made up for by the consistency and pricing of what's on offer.
