London is and has been for many centuries, a centre for journalism. Despite globalization and relocation to the provinces, London is still the UK's centre of the media world.
Traditionally, newspapers were written, edited and typeset in [Fleet Street]?, but since Rupert Murdoch moved production of his papers: The Times, The Sun, The News of the World, to [Wapping]?, and others have followed suit, [Fleet Street]? is a historical relic of the newspaper centre it was. Reuters has its headquarters on Fleet Street.
