Not been there yet, but had a chat with some of the staff while planning a meeting there (September 2004). They do a roast on Sundays - the vegetarian option is apparently the same meal just without the meat, though, which doesn't really sound like a vegetarian option to me. And TBH if the choice is a meat-based meal or nothing I'm most likely to go for the nothing. They do have a restaurant upstairs that's open 6:30-10 but all I know about that is that they have three veggie options plus three fish options plus some meat options and although you're meant to book for it, if we're drinking in the pub and decide we want to go upstairs and eat we just need to let the barstaff know and they'll fit us in.
