Cafe Mojhito, CR0 1QG

Cuban restaurant on Croydon High Street. This means mexcian type food and cocktails it would seem.

None of the food was outstanding it wasnt bad either. The steak while cooked properly was tough. They would seem to have forgotten the chilli sauce on it to. The waffle for dessert was very nice.

The staff are to say the least inexperinced. Then again they had only been open about 4 weeks when we went. The menu is full of spelling mistakes. The staff are made to wear white cowboy hats.

The cocktails were good though. Large Iced Teas are 5.95. (I did not approve of the margaritas - no lime juice! --Kake)

Dinner for 2 with several cocktails came to about 50 [Nov 2004]

If you want decent Mexican Food in Croydon I would suggest El Sombrero and Conchitas. -- bob
