A small tapas bar just of Bow Street, the pedestrian area that runs from Mansion House Station to Cheapside.

The main part of the bar is downstairs, with a small function room upstairs, and is dark and spacious. They hire out the function room as well as being willing to section of areas of the bar.

They serve a variety of wines and beers, with an emphasis on the spanish side of things, as well as a good range of Tapas.

Overall the place was quite nice with good food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The only let down were the standard scary waitresses that you often seem to get in tapas bars, who barged past our group (who were out of the way coralled into a reserved area) with piles of plates and glasses.

My only other observation is that they have a "How to speak Spanish" cd on repeat as the bathroom music. This is more than slightly unnerving, as Marisol and Carlos help you through the minefield of spanish adjective usage and the correct manner of expressing displeasure with your food (surely a foolish thing to explain in a restautant) while you visit the smallest room is an experience that you will not wander into too often.

They also have other branches:

  • 15 Botolph Street, EC3A 7DT
  • 1A Bell Lane, E1 7LA
  • 481 Lordship Lane, Dulwich, SE22 8JY
