Very good pub which has recently been taken over by Fuller's. The beer was very good. ESB was �2.75[Jan 2005].

The food menu was limited but very good. The Steak, Mushroom and ale pie was obvioulsy homemade adn very reasonable at about �7. It even had a short crust pie top instead of those floaty puff pastry ones. The burgers were also obvioulsy hand made and cooked properly.

Is possible the best pub in the area if you are doing a Circle Line pub crawl.
