The Open Guide to London: the free London guide

Our group meets every First Tuesday from 18:30pm. The place to be is The New Rose Pub, 84 Essex Road. The Pub is right by the junction with Cross Street.

The usual attendance each week ranges from 6 - 16 people, with a range of styles and abilities. We are all keen to learn and meet other knitters from around the world.

NB: Americans call Knitting Groups a "stitch'n'bitch" session, after the Debbie Stoller book.

However, the British usually don't because of a) the legal wranglings currently taking place and b) because we are a little more polite ;-).
