:MINIMOOD: avant-garde art encounters minimal electronic music

in collaboration with serotonica, minimood launches a series of art expositions that plunge into minimal club-nights at exclusive, out-of-the ordinary locations in london.

the launch night on friday 24.11.2006 is held in the ballroom of the beautiful members' club 43 south molton and presents the ONOMATOPOEIA art vernissage by OLGA MITTERFELLNER from moscow. The exhibition will focus on the texture of people's personalities.

as a central st martins graduate, living and working in London, olga mitterfellner's work combines two disciplines: fashion and fine arts. she paints on fashion garments, making them a tailored canvas and thus a wearable tribute to art, and also paints on various surfaces using oil and acrylic paints, yarn, textiles and even make-up. she has exhibited her portraits in several venues in london, the latest one being a "live" portrait night where guests were captured by her on paper throughout the night.

minimal sounds will be provided by the minimood collective including duncan (geneva), valentino de bronfff marzipan (vienna) and volt.mar (lausanne). these three mad mini-scientists have already poured their contagious waveform liquids in rinsin' places such as 333 (london), 93 feet east (london), cult (lausanne), friedrichstrasse 112 (berlin), gecko (hong kong), ministry of sound (london), pacha (marrakech), red club (lausanne), sanatorium 23 (berlin), spark (vienna), and weetamix (geneva). moreover, the minimood label is scheduled to launch in january 2007 with world-wide distribution inicluding releases by fusiphorm, so inagawa, apoll, and duncan&volt.mar.

on the minimood night an abstract journey from intellectual clicks, glitches and micro house will implode in macro electro remidemi and pumpin' minimal rambazamba, exposing the crowd to a groove that will necessitate motion in all possible worlds. deconstructed, reconstructed and forward- three vodka on the rocks, please.

the final dimension of mental transcendence is marked by mind-blowing live visuals from dagmar buehler and niall thompson (dandelion&burdock).

conclusion: be there or be square!
