Just joined the Grubstreet mailing list and I hope to contribute a lot.

I may not have explained to everyone but I am the current editor of Project
Galactic Guide which was set up some 12 years ago as (I think) the first
internet version of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
http://www.galactic-guide.com/

we also use a wiki - and am encouraging its use instead of the previous
article format which was ugly and difficult to use.

We almost predated the WWW - and the first versions of the guide were
available by ftp only !!!

I have written a few London articles and these have been some of the most
popular in the Guide.

Since you probably haven't read the "Welcome Message" in a while, here it
is... and my responses....

I've added various Grub street articles on places I know about -

The only thing I have to suggest is to modify the basic usemod URL style

cgi-bin/wiki.pl?something

to being path orientated....

grubstreet/London%20Underground

The idea is to make it easier for web crawlers to index the whole site.

I like the search box usually found on the top left. It is much better than
my installation
